Calco Environmental Group Ltd. Co-Sponsors Environmental Conference

CALGARY, AB - (March 2008) Calco Environmental Group Ltd. is pleased to announce the co-sponsorship of an environmental conference in Calgary on March 13 2008 hosted by the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO), Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). The conference, titled “Practical Solutions for You and Your Environment”, focused on defining the environmental challenges we face and reviewing numerous current and developing technologies to meet those challenges. The conference was attended by approximately 200 business leaders from Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

The conference was honoured to have Preston Manning C.C. for the key note address. Speakers included Kim Sturgess – President of Alberta WaterSMART, Dave LaBarre – President of Baseline emissions Management, Tom Heintzman – President of Bulldog Power, Bruce Lounsbury – President of Maple Leaf Environmental Equipment, John Dragasevich – President of Filter Innovations, Ken Edwards – President of MRCan Services, Nancy Stalker of the City of Calgary, Tim McGinn of Cohos Evamy, and Monica Kohlhammer. The session was closed by Elizabeth May – Leader of the Green Party of Canada.
