Applications
Recleaning of sampling canisters between uses often calls for the canister ot be heated. This canister bake-out process assists in the removal of volatile organic compounds from the walls of the canister. Meriter's Canister Blankets are efficient and a highly effective method for heating sampling canisters. They are easy to use - simply insert a canister into the blanket, connect the canister to a cleaning system and plug the blanket into a 120 VAC power supply. Self-regulating or externally controlled models are available for a variety of canisters.

  • Unlike heating straps, insulated canister blankets efficiently heat the entire canister to the target temperature.
  • Provides an effective method for baking out canisters having pressure gauges, without risk of damage to the gauge. Fittings can be easily accessed for leakcheck.
  • Constructed of safe materials and protected from over-temperature.
  • Two types to choose from: Fixed temperature (built-in thermostat) or adjustable temperature control (blanket comes with a thermocouple for use with a temperature controller).
